How fees work

Plain answers on paying for care, before you book.

  • Insurance we work with

We bill health plans for visits your plan covers. What a plan pays differs from plan to plan, and some plans don't cover functional neurology exams or exercise visits at all. We check before your first visit and tell you what we find.

    • Most PPO plans

    • Some employer plans

    • Ask us about yours

  • If you pay yourself

If you pay yourself, your chiropractor tells you the fee for each part of a visit before it happens, and you pay at the visit. Ask the front desk for our fee list.

  • Receipts for reimbursement

After each visit we can give you an itemized receipt. If your plan reimburses out-of-network care you can send it to them, and the plan decides what it pays.

  • An estimate in advance

If you don't use insurance, you have the right to a good faith estimate of what your care will cost. We give you one in writing before your first visit. Ask us.

  • Checking your benefits

Angie, our care coordinator, checks your benefits before your first visit and calls you with what she finds. You can also call your plan and ask whether it covers chiropractic visits and exams.

  • What the first visit includes

A first visit takes about 75 minutes: your history, eye-movement and balance tests, a neck and spine exam and a written plan. Plans pay for each part differently, which is why we check first.

More about paying

Do you take my insurance?

We bill health plans for visits your plan covers, and plans differ a lot on what they pay. Our care coordinator checks your benefits before your first visit. How fees work explains each step.

What if I don't use insurance?

You pay at the visit, and your chiropractor tells you the fee for each part of it first. You have the right to a good faith estimate in writing before your first visit. Ask us, and we can give you an itemized receipt to send to your plan.

What is your scheduling policy?

Please call or message us as early as you can if you need to move a visit. Ask us about our scheduling policy when you book.
